What is Notion?

Notion is a web application to manage information in one place. You can write and record tasks, plan ahead, capture ideas, manage projects, track any process in any organisation, whether you’re working alone, as a sole trader or as a cog in a larger company.

Notion can be accessed anytime and anywhere, all you need is a web browser and an Internet connection.

There are a plethora of similar tools available today, but I think Notion stands out for its simplicity and approach.

You can find a short English summary (video) here:

What a one-man business can (and very well should!) use it for:

  • project planning and implementation
  • invoice, contract and document management
  • CRM
  • note taking, writing up ideas

What larger organisations can use it for (in addition to the one-person solutions listed above, of course), integrated into their business processes:

  • Multi-task tracking, project coordination
  • Multi-project management, multi-project management, multi-project management
  • Coordination of teams and processes
  • Integration with other tools

It’s VERY easy to integrate with other systems, easy to learn, you can start using it quickly, you can build a pretty intuitive system, you can create a lot of automation etc, etc… there is 24/7 support (English language, but I provide support in EN/DE/HU) and the system availability is almost 100%. More than 10.000 (!) templates are available if you want to map your processes with Notion. There is also built-in AI (LLM).

But how exactly can I help you, how do I use Notion?

In my thoughtful implementation process, we go through the following steps – pre-defined and documented:

As-is analysis

The first step is to assess the existing data, information, processes and their configurations and relationships in the organisation.

Migration (project) plan

It is not necessary to go through everything, you can go step by step. We determine exactly where and at what point intervention is actually needed, what process we want to support with Notion. We draw up a draft of this process, with deadlines, time and cost estimates.

Test migration

During the test, we implement a mini project with a shortened, mostly reduced scope. With fewer users, a smaller part of a process or a reduced amount of data, we simulate and prepare for live operation. Here, the size of the project depends largely on how quickly and over how large an area we want to implement.

Live migration

Once the test has run smoothly, we perform the live implementation. The documentation is also finalised at this stage. Training is an essential part of the test and live migration. Archiving the data of the old operation and developing a backup concept for the operation in the new system may also be part of the process.

Maintenance – Support

I will continue to provide support, new ideas and things ripe for customisation will keep coming as the system runs and is used.
